Department of Civil, EEE & Mechanical Engineering Conducted One day Seminar on "How to Publish a Research Paper at UG Level" at Mechanical Seminar hall, Dr. TTIT on 16.10.2024. Prof. Shashi Kumar V N ,Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Vemana Institute of Technology was the Session Speaker.
The session was highly informative and well-structured. It covered key aspects like topic selection, writing techniques, journal selection, and handling peer reviews. The presenter communicated effectively, and the Q&A session was helpful.

Student Development Program
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association with the B.S. Narayan Center of Excellence, BMS College of Engineering, and the Institution Innovation Council, organized a 5-Day Student Development Program (SDP) titled “Hands-on Mastery: Deep Dive into Machine Learning and Deep Learning Techniques” from June 3rd to June 7th, 2024.
The SDP was inaugurated by Dr. H G Shenoy, Vice-Principal, Prof. Ruckmani Divakaran, Dean (Academics), and Dr. Geetha C Megharaj, Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
This program aims to equip participants with in-depth knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), develop and implement ML and DL models using the CuDA framework, and extend their understanding of these technologies through real-time applications.
The SDP featured expert sessions by Dr. Gowrishankar, Professor and Head of the Department of Machine Learning (AIML) at BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru, and Dr. Monika Puttaramaiah, Professor in the same department.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Mohammed Kareemulla, Professor, Dr. Jansi Rani J, Associate Professor, and Prof. Punitha F, Assistant Professor, from Department of CSE.

Inauguration of Dr.TTIT - KSCST IPR Cell
Our college, in association with the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology, inaugurated the Dr. TTIT – KSCST IPR Cell on 15th May 2024. Following the inauguration, a one-day workshop on Intellectual Property Rights was held.
The keynote address was delivered by Dr. U. T. Vijay, Executive Secretary of KSCST. The workshop featured sessions by Dr. Sarasija Padmanabhan, Patent Agent & WIPO Tutor, Ms. Vanisree Moji, Patent Agent & Consultant, Mr. Vineeth Kumar S R, Project Engineer at KSCST, and Mr. Nagarjun M G, Project Associate at KSCST.
